Chocolate Easter Bunnies have arrived!

The Coldwater Lions Club is once again selling Chocolate Easter bunnies as a fundraiser. The bunnies are available in Milk, White, or Dark chocolate and cost $3.50 each or 3 for $10.00.

The bunnies will be available from Lions members and at local merchants. You can also order by emailing info@coldwaterlions.com with your contact information and a member will contact you to take your order.

All proceeds from the sale of the bunnies will go back into the community and Lions causes.

Coldwater Lions – January Donations

On January 24th 2011 at the regular meeting of the Coldwater Lions Club we were once again distributing money to community groups and Lions charities. At this particular meeting the Lions club was glad to be able to support the Coldwater Youth Bowling League, a local citizen with some medical finances, the Coldwater Brownies club, the Canadian Diabetes Assiciation, as well as CNIB Lake Joe camp.

CNIB Lake Joe is one of four Lions supported camps which are in the Coldwater Lions Club’s district. CNIB Lake Joe is a specialized camp which offers a recreational camp experience for people of all ages who are living with vision loss. For more information go to cnib.ca/Lake-Joseph

Travel Dream Draw

On January 10th 20011 at a regular meeting of the Coldwater Lions Club the three winners of the Travel Dream draw were presented their winning cheques. The Coldwater Lions Club would like to thanks everyone who supported the club in the past year in support of the draw.

$120,000 donated to RVH Cancer Centre

The Coldwater and Waubaushene Lions Clubs are proud to announce that a donation of $120,000 is to be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Cancer Centre. Last year the Coldwater Lions Club committed to using a portion ($60,000) of the money earned from a recent building sale in Coldwater. The additional $60,000 dollars was received in a grant from the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF). The $120,000 will be used to purchase an ultrasound machine to be located in the new cancer unit.
